Luckily I didn't have a lot of Runes, but telling people it's a safe area but then including a surprise fight with an enemy that literally was able to kill me in a single hit is a bit of a cheap move. I think the intention is to make it clear to you that it's a "yeah, you should be exploring more of the map and getting stronger and finding new abilities and come back to take this boss on later" sort of feeling. I know very few cards can be activated during the damage step, so if it's a situation where your monster wouldn't have been destroyed by battle, so UCoD's effect kicks in during the damage step when maybe cyberse can't be activated?It might be this. Cyberse Synchron says it can prevent destruction by "battle or card effect", but TUCoD's effect of destroying monsters it battles is not technically being destroyed BY battle, so it wouldn't be able to trigger the first effect on that. I read something like that, but I can't tell if it was a bonus reward for completing the whole thing, or if they were simply summing up the rewards you collectively get for beating everything in it. It just must be that poorly optimized. I wish there were keyboard shortcuts for some things though. | Grand Kirby 01/20/22 10:35:51 PM #46 | I might be one of the few non-regular players that prefers modern Yu-Gi-Oh to the older format, mainly because even as a kid I always thought Tribute Summoning, Ritual Monsters, and Fusion was always dumb and useless. Back in the day it wasn't even worth bothering using anything that took more than a turn to get, especially if it like would just die to Trap Hole anyway.
